About Us
We are a mother-daughter team with a passion for photography. Using our family's own photos, we have created over 150 unique and beautiful greeting cards in three sizes. Our collection began in 2005 with 5"x7" Bible verse cards. We have since added blank photo cards, specialty cards, "short notes," and miniature enclosure cards. Our hope is that you will love our products, and will use them to bless others when they receive a Grace Greeting card from you.
Our Story
A seed was planted for Grace Greetings in April, 2005 when I noticed a lovely red and white tulip tucked within a bouquet. Captured by its beauty, I was in awe that an ugly tulip bulb could emerge into this miracle. I took many photos of this tulip and soon found myself, along with my family, on a mission. We took hundreds of tulip photos throughout the city before their short season was over. Oddly enough, I ordered multiple copies of our favorite ones without having a single plan of what to do with them. Then, one night while praying about our church's new teen center, I got the idea: I could use these photos to create greeting cards with Bible verses and sell them to raise money for the teen center. We thought this would be a one-time project, but God had other plans. As we received requests for more cards, our family gathered around the kitchen island many a night, printing, folding, and attaching photos on cards to fulfill new orders.
Realizing that this endeavor was beginning to form into a business, we set out to find a name that would capture its meaning. The word "grace" seemed appropriate to us. We know God's grace is given to us daily. And beyond that, my precious grandmother's name was Grace, who at the time of this was 93. While continuing to pray about the name of our business, the telephone rang, and on caller ID appeared the name: "Grace." It was my grandmother on the other end. As I answered, I excitedly told my grandmother that her call was an answer to prayer! It was as if God confirmed the name right there. We would be intentionally greeting people with grace through our cards. Hence,..Grace Greetings!
As our card line expanded, we began taking photos of scenery and other flowers. For an entire year my daughter, Caroline, and I searched the Bible to find promises of hope and encouragement to use for our cards. We thoughtfully paired each Bible verse with a photo we believed would glorify God. In the process of assembling multiple cards of each style, I received an unexpected blessing: I realized that I had memorized over 50 Bible verses! These verses are now tucked in my memory and have been a source of joy, hope, and encouragement. God uses all things for good!
A decade and a half later, we are printing our cards professionally at a local printing company, which allows us to expand Grace Greetings even more!
